VEMA is one of the largest fleet management organizations in Manitoba. We offer an integrated leasing and fleet management solution to all types of public sector organizations operating in the province. Our customers include provincial and federal departments, not-for-profit agencies, school divisions, municipalities, and crown corporations. We manage approximately 2,600 vehicles across Manitoba.
VEMA manages the complete Vehicle/Equipment Life Cycle including financing, selection and acquisition, licensing, monitoring operating expenses, and re-marketing. The result is safer, more environmentally friendly vehicles and equipment, operating at the lowest possible cost.

Fleet Vehicles Agency (FLEET) and Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation’s Mechanical Equipment Services (MES) branch were the parents who gave birth to a new organization.
Fleet Vehicles Agency was founded in 1934 to reduce vehicle costs for provincial departments, and operated as a Special Operating Agency (SOA) of the Manitoba Government from 1992 until 2009, when VEMA was born. SOA status means we manage our business as a business. We monitor and manage costs to ensure you get the best value from the purchase, operation and subsequent disposal of a vehicle or heavy equipment.

We meet regularly with individual customers to provide information, discuss services, or suggest ways to improve the effectiveness of your fleet. When you hold regional meetings, we will gladly make arrangements to speak with your employees about VEMA and their vehicles.
